When a police officer stops you, can they ask you questions?

Of course they can, they certainly will, but that doesn’t mean you have to answer those questions.

To explain why, you have to understand that the main task of a cop is to lock up criminals, they are only there for that, a cop will not ask you “what are you doing?” just because he wants to help you or because he wants to chat, NO! If a cop asks you a question, he expects you to answer something that he can use against you, so three simple words like “I don’t answer questions” can save your ass.

They expect you to get it wrong, just so they have a reason to give you a sobriety ‘test’, search you, or worse… ARREST YOU! For, if they manage to arrest you, they can ask all the questions they want, and you will have to answer them.

By saying “No Questions Asked” you are informing the officer that you know your rights and that he should stop questioning you immediately.

So DON’T BE DUMB! Keep your mouth shut, it’s the best thing you can do, it’s your right, the right to remain silent. Ahh and don’t forget to call me!!!
